The proportion of both men and women who participated in physical activities had increased since 2007/2008. However, the proportion of women taking part in physical activities increased more, slightly closing the gap between the two groups from 6 percentage point in 2007/2008 to 4 percentage points in 2019. The sample size of those who identified in another way is too small for robust analysis.
